VERTICAL DANCE COURSE

Starting Monday, October 14th
We train the body in the ecstasy of inversion to grasp its revelations of stability; we train personalities to be and express themselves in the direct forms of gesture; we observe the intelligence of joints and muscles leading us into the layers of real imagination.
It will be on the ground, it will be in the void, it will be with feet on the wall: it will be mutable, gradual, careful. It will be solitary and choral, silent and numerous. It will be a persuasive desire for the habit of the warmth of the belly and the coolness of the forehead. It is practiced a few meters off the ground.
For the 2024-2025 year, we propose a course divided into three modules: from October to December, the first session of work will take place in the operational spaces of Forte Marghera, Mestre; from January to March, we will continue with an online training of 1 hour per session to maintain a warm creative language during the colder months; from March to May, a third module will follow the first in the same spaces and times.
The workshop is open to those who are accustomed to movement, even if they have no experience in vertical dance.
Workshop Schedule
The work rhythm is divided into 3 modules.
From Monday, October 14th to Monday, December 16th: 10 sessions on Mondays from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at C32 – Forte Marghera, Mestre.
From Monday, January 13th to Monday, March 3rd: 8 online sessions on Monday evenings from 7:30 PM to 8:30 PM.
From Monday, March 17th to Monday, May 26th: 10 sessions from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM.

Annual membership: €10
Module 1: €150

Offer for those attending the entire course: €320 plus membership
A medical certificate of fitness for non-competitive sports will be required to participate.
