Motus Celeri – Flows of Performative Practices

MOTUS CELERI – Flows of Performative Practices

with Marianna Andrigo | Vertical Waves Project

Starting from
Wednesday, October 9, 2024
Every Wednesday from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM
at Calle del Teatro 1, Sacca Fisola, Venice

Movement is continuous, revealing variable intensities that reflect our stories and our present moments. Movement is a revealer of our pleasures, an access to our mysteries.

In its power, whether maximum or intermittent, muscular or cerebral, it offers new and ever-new spaces of discovery—of the external world and of the self.

Motus Celeri proposes a weekly meeting in which to observe dynamic instincts through tools of organization, mutation, and resistance.

After an initial part of the session focused on recalling the body as the privileged instrument of our actions—through simple exercises that train the fundamental mechanics of the body—we will continue with work that, through verbal cues, seeks to stimulate individual and creative processes in relation to specific objectives—images / objects / durations / dimensions / effects.

Motus Celeri, like the movement of the swift, capable of sleeping with one eye open and flying for months without landing.

So that practice, dance, becomes for us—together—an authentic language of everyday life.
